Barnet		Simplicity: Meditation for Real Life — April 9th - 16th Join the daily life of Karmê Chöling's contemplative community in an open schedule that includes guided instruction in sitting and walking meditation, time for reading, reflection, and discussion, as well as time to enjoy our trails and views of Vermont's green mountains. St. Johnsbury	7:00 p.m.	Film: Monster — April 9th - 15th Based on a true story, Monster relates horrifying events that overtook one disenfranchised woman over a decade ago. Aileen Wuornos (Charlize Theron) had a troubled childhood plagued by abuse and drug use in Michigan, becoming a prostitute (and pregnant) by the age of 13. Wuornos eventually moved to Florida where she became a highway prostitute, servicing professional truck drivers. This movie focuses on the nine month period in 1989 and 1990 during which she had a relationship with a woman named Selby (Christina Ricci), and during which she also began murdering her clientele.
